Oregon is the home of track and field, with a history of hosting several major collegiate and national events in the last 60+ years at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field. As one of the most world-famous venues, Hayward has been a magical place showcasing notable televised events such as the USATF & NCAA championships, the Olympic trials, Prefontaine Classic, and more. After major renovations concluded in 2020, Hayward Magic was born to amplify the grit, guts, and glory of the sport for the athletes, fans, and the next generations to follow. The deliverables in the case study below showcase a select variety of digital collateral that got the track and field crowds pumped for a summer in Eugene, OR and gave them an opportunity to engage and spread the magic both in and outside of Hayward Field.
